Our CEO Samit Roy had the pleasure of interning with Jimmy Carter in 1972 and has had a noteable and successful career in the IT Services industry. We celebrate him and his accomplishments!
President Jimmy Carter celebrated his 100th birthday two days ago. I had the extreme privilege?of interning under him while doing my graduate studies at Georgia State University between 1972 and 1973. This experience led me to a career in computers and the Public Sector starting with the appointment as Chief Information Officer at City of Atlanta by Mayor Maynard Jackson in 1978. I was then appointed the CIO of the City of Miami by then Mayor Maurice Ferre. My career in IT continued as Vice President and Corporate Director of Unisys both in the US and in Asia Pacific. I ended my corporate career as Managing Director of Apple South Asia. Now I run Scicom Infrastructure Services, an IT Managed Services provider to Fortune 500 companies in the US. #JimmyCarter #Scicom #ITServices
