Who says science and fun can’t paddle together? ???? Last week, we had so much fun kayaking on the NOC-Enid campus pond for the bathymetry survey. Last Friday, I successfully defended my MS thesis, marking the (almost) end of an incredible two-year journey at Oklahoma State University. Reflecting on this experience, I realize how much this place and its people have helped me grow, both professionally and personally. Thanks to my amazing advisors, Dr. Jaime Schussler and Dr. Mary Foltz, for their mentorship and guidance over the past two years. You are truly the best advisors anyone could hope for during their grad life. Also, a big thank you to my committee member, Dr. Gabriel Perez for his valuable insights and support, which helped make my research more meaningful and impactful. Go pokes ????

I am incredibly thankful that Kathryn Thomsen & the ODOT stormwater team invited me to be a part of the C4 Planning Committee and introduce an afternoon of live demonstrations for stormwater professionals in our state. I was on cloud nine returning to my erosion and sediment control roots & hosting some awesome vendors in OK! Thank you to Sherry Hunt, Bryan Heiner, and their team for the hospitality at USDA.
