The additional 25% duty on products from Mexico and Canada takes effect today. On March 2, 2025, President Trump announced an amendment to the original Executive Orders, Executive Orders 14198 and 14197, which postpones the removal of the duty-free de minimis treatment under 19 U.S.C. 1321.
