?? Empowering the Next Generation of Healthcare Professionals! ???? Today, Greenfield High School hosted the largest healthcare career expo of its kind in the Milwaukee area, bringing together more than 600 high school students, teachers, counselors, and administrators from Milwaukee Public Schools and the Southwest Milwaukee Consortium (Greendale, Greenfield, Franklin, St. Francis, and Whitnall). This incredible event introduced students to a wide range of healthcare careers, training requirements, and job opportunities, helping them take their first steps toward joining Wisconsin’s healthcare workforce. The expo was inspired by the Wisconsin Healthcare Association’s 2024 Wisconsin Health Care Workforce Report, which highlights the urgent need for more workers in direct patient care roles. Students left the event inspired and better equipped to pursue futures in healthcare, addressing this critical need in our community.
