Remember our 3D-printed Survey Boat created by Joe Joe Conn in our Huntsville office a few months back? Well, she's been Schoel-ified, and she is gorgeous! ? ?? Our office had a design contest and voted on which design they liked best and this was the winner! This boat is made of 3D-printed materials and can take measurements underwater to survey and determine the different depths in a body of water. She knows how to maneuver over leaves and other debris in the water to get that underwater topography. ?? Great job to Joe Joe Conn for this incredible build and to Grant Donnelly on the winning design! Last week, our Survey team, Joe Joe Conn (HSV), Todd King (BHM), and Tepper Middleton (BHM), was at Wallace State Community College - Hanceville for the Tools of the Trade Event with the Alabama Society of Professional Land Surveyors! They spoke with 1,800 8th Graders from Blount County, Cullman City, Cullman County, Oneonta City, Winston County, Cullman Christian, and STEAM Academy Home School Group about careers in the Surveying field.
