Schnitzer Properties Staff Spotlight: Meet Brian Spencer—Schnitzer Properties HVAC Technician Lead, baseball dad, and retired volunteer radio DJ. ? Brian Spencer heads the HVAC department for Schnitzer Properties in the Las Vegas region, which keeps him and his team busy in the Nevada heat. He says his favorite thing about working for Schnitzer Properties is the company's family-first philosophy, fostered by President and CEO Jordan Schnitzer. "It's home away from home, and we're like a family around here," Spencer said. "It's not one of those places where you get out of bed going, 'Nah, man, I don't want to go to work today.' I look forward to coming to work, facing challenges, and making our tenants happy. Jordan takes great care of us—he's a family-minded guy, and it's just a great place to work." Speaking of family, Spencer and his wife Lisa have three adult kids—sons Shane and Andrew and daughter Taylor. Shane recently signed a baseball contract with the Billings Mustangs in Montana, an independent league affiliated with Major League Baseball. In addition to his role as an outstanding HVAC Technician Lead for Schnitzer Properties, Spencer is also a music aficionado. He and Lisa recently bought a record store, and before that, he was a volunteer radio DJ for 23 years. He was recently nominated for the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame for his work on a weekend blues music show.

Schnitzer Properties and Development Partner Mainlander Investments Receive Unanimous Land Use Approval for Sherwood Commerce Center This week, Phase II of our Sherwood Commerce Center project in Sherwood, Ore., took a significant step forward. Following a public hearing, the city's planning commission unanimously approved our Land Use Application. City of Sherwood Economic Development Manager Bruce Coleman shared his excitement for the project and its potential impact on the local economy. "This is another example of the exciting progress that the City is making in collaboration with Schnitzer Properties to bring new businesses and jobs to our community," said Coleman. "I look forward to the continued journey to help create a more diversified economic base for Sherwood. Thank you, Schnitzer Properties, for investing, again, in Sherwood." Sherwood Commerce Center Phase I was completed in May of this year and is filling up with manufacturers, distributors, and service providers. Phase II is slated for completion in Spring of 2026. Once fully built out, Sherwood Commerce Center can house some 65 tenants across multiple buildings, providing warehouse space for businesses of every size.
