?Initially I used a black ballpoint pen, but I was missing softness, texture and depths in these drawings which made me switch to colored pencils. Over time I became a creature of habit, sticking to this one particular pencil in “night blue”.“ We recently interviewed Vanessa Lindenau about her work at the intersection of illustration, architecture, and communication. She shared insightful perspectives on how these disciplines connect and influence one another. Read the full interview now on our website. Vanessa is also the founder of the newly established office SpeakingOf – a communications agency focused on design and architecture. Portrait: ?? Maria Ritsch — Ritsch Sisters Illustration + Photo:?? ?? Mechthild Stuhlmacher ??
