These resilient women have acquired essential digital skills, empowering them to enhance their careers, start businesses, and build brighter futures for themselves and their families. An Evening with Siran Riak: A Journey Through Fashion, Film. Siran Riak is a South Sudanese fashion model, actress, and author. Discovered at a young age, her modeling career began in Uganda and later expanded internationally, where she walked for major fashion brands like Bulgari, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. In 2022, she made her acting debut in Goodbye Julia, a film that won over 40 international awards, including recognition at the Cannes Film Festival and an Oscar nomination. In 2024, she published her first book on fashion, offering insights into the industry and her personal experiences. Siran continues to break barriers and inspire the next generation of African creatives. This event aims to bring together fashion enthusiasts, filmmakers, and creatives for an insightful session with one of South Sudan’s most accomplished models and actresses.
