Digital literacy is a transformative force, opening doors to new opportunities and bridging the gender gap in the digital economy. Currently, women hold approximately 35% of tech-related jobs, a significant improvement from the early 2000s when they made up only 9%. (womentech.net) However, challenges persist, as 90% of adolescent girls and young women in low-income countries do not use the internet, highlighting a significant digital divide. (unicef.org) Today, at Scenius Hub we celebrate the remarkable graduates of the Single Mothers Digital Literacy Skills Program by the Nyot Kok Foundation. These resilient women have acquired essential digital skills, empowering them to enhance their careers, start businesses, and build brighter futures for themselves and their families. This graduation marks a pivotal step toward breaking barriers and ensuring more women are active participants in the digital revolution. #DigitalLiteracy #WomenInTech #SingleMothersEmpowered #BridgingTheDigitalDivide #NyotKokFoundation #FutureLeaders
