关于我们
Since our founding in 2008, the Shenandoah Community Capital Fund, formerly known as the Staunton Creative Community Fund has been dedicated helping entrepreneurs start, sustain, and grow businesses in the Shenandoah Valley. We serve as the regional hub for entrepreneurial innovation and bring together the talent, creativity, information, funding, and resources that help entrepreneurs grow a vibrant Shenandoah Valley economy. Happy National Entrepreneur Day! Today we're throwing it back to some of the entrepreneurs we met during our 2022 ecosystem listening tours: ?? Zach and Amberlee are the owners of Sage Bird Ciderworks. They began their hard-cider production on their front porch! ? Darryl Matthews is the cofounder of Merge Coffee. Merge now has three coffee shops in and around Harrisonburg! ??? Helen and Lauren are the design gurus behind Curated Interiors. Not only do they run a beautiful interior decor shop in Lexington, they also host several short-term rentals! You can read about some of their entrepreneurial journeys, and other stories like their's, on our blog. SCCF is launching its new Small Business Intensive in February 2025!! ?? We've been working all year to put together this program, and are excited to finally share it with you. The Small Business Intensive is a four-month, cohort-based program designed for growth-minded entrepreneurs, who still want to remain a small business or stay local. These ‘non-scalable’ businesses need a different type of support than what traditional entrepreneurship programs, like incubators or accelerators, can offer. Small Business Intensive will coach you through the tools and skills you need to grow your small business! This program is made possible by a grant from the City of Staunton and additional support from City National Bank. Interested in finding out if you're a good fit for the program? RSVP for our SBI Information Session on December 4th at the Staunton Innovation Hub! We'll give a short presentation about the program and then answer any lingering questions you may have.
