The tragic deaths of two children in our region highlight the critical importance of properly fitted and installed child safety seats. Like many other public safety entities, #sccadems has SAFEKIDS-certified child passenger safety techs available by appointment to assist parents, grandparents and others. For families unable to afford safe transportation for their children, help is available - thanks to a partnership with SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and a generous grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation, cost-free seats are available to those who qualify.
