Delphi Dyslexia Definition When I deliver training or speak with teachers, I often refer to the new definition of dyslexia and, more importantly, what it actually means in practice. In this handout, I’ve aimed to break down key parts of the definition, highlight what these challenges might look like in the classroom, and offer brief, practical ideas for how to support them. I’m especially pleased that the updated definition now includes references to phonological memory/auditory memory, and working memory as these areas are often overlooked but can have a significant impact across the entire curriculum. Its not all just reading and writing.
