Meet Saeko Ehara, a Kirakira (sparkling) artist and VJ based in Tokyo whose work combines mobile 3D scanning and generative AI tools to make 3D point cloud artworks. Her inspiration comes from memories and joys of her childhood—reading illustrated books of flowers, drawing, and collecting Kirakira items like anime cards, stickers, and acrylic jewels. As a child, she would become so enthralled with her collections, that time would disappear when she was engrossed in her favorite sparkly creations. High school students document Sogi no Taki (Sogi Waterfalls) Park in 3D photographs. 3D scanning comes to the Osaka-Kansai Expo in Japan 158 countries and regions will participate in the Osaka-Kansai Expo, which explores the theme "Designing a Future Society for Life." Pictured in the article, students from Kagoshima Information High School photographed Sogi Falls Park. After taking pictures of the scenery with their smartphones, they used VR goggles to check what they had captured. In the future, students from Oguchi High School will also cooperate in the editing process, and the film will be exhibited at the Expo's Regional Revitalization SDGs Festival from May 28th to June 1st. https://lnkd.in/gS7Q_aC4
