Students from Stanford always ask good questions!
Once again, a group of Stanford engineering students toured our plant to see manufacturing in action. This year, they came to learn about springback in particular. Our staff happens to be experts in overcoming springback! #stanford #stamping #springs

Today's company lunch celebrated that 24% of our workforce is currently or recently engaged in continuing education, including: tooling techniques and press maintenance from #precisionmetalforming; advanced spring design from #smi; ESL classes and Six Sigma training; and a MBA program from the University of Cincinnati. Scandic pays 100% of tuition and fees for our employees. It's good for them, good for the company, good for the economy.
