Unbelievably, that's the equivalent of 3.5" of water covering the entire state of North Carolina. Helping our local communities is one of the pillars of our company so we've partnered with Operation Blessing, Community Fellowship, and Virtual Railfan to assist our fellow Tennesseans. We are collecting supplies to send to Northeast Tennessee if you live nearby. Operation Blessing has dropped off a 53' semi-trailer and our mission is to fill it by this Tuesday, October 8th. We're accepting in-person donations at... ScaleTrains & Virtual Railfan 4901 Old Tasso Road NE, Cleveland, Tennessee 37312 Near the corner of Stuart (Paul Huff) & Old Tasso; catty-corner from the YMCA 1st Dock Door Drop-off times: • Today, Friday 10/4 - 1:00pm to 7:00pm • Saturday 10/5 - 9:00am to 5:00pm • Sunday 10/6 - 1:00pm to 5:00pm • Monday 10/7 - 7:00am to 7:00pm • Tuesday 10/8 - 7:00am to 7:00pm If you live outside our area and would like to help, Community Fellowship Church in Ocoee, Tennessee has established a Tennessee Hurricane Relief fund. 100% of the money received by Friday, October 11 will be used to purchase another trailer load of supplies. Together, ScaleTrains & Virtual Railfan will match up to $10,000 in funds received by Community Fellowship Church. Whether or not you can donate supplies or money, we ask you to join us in keeping the affected families and first responders, volunteers, pilots, truckers, construction workers, and everyone assisting with relief efforts in your thoughts and prayers. The recovery will likely take years and many of these people are witnessing unimaginable tragedy firsthand. The ScaleTrains Road Trip is an ongoing 50-state tour that allows us to connect with model railroaders across the country at model railroad clubs, museums, and train-watching hotspots. It’s the first of its kind in our industry and it’s been an amazing way for us to build personal connections with fellow railfans and modelers. During each Meet & Greet, we display our latest model trains and encourage everyone to pick them up and check them out. We usually spend about an hour sharing our story, showing a video about how model trains are made, and holding a Q&A session where attendees can ask us anything. Plus, we have gift bags and giveaways, so no one leaves empty-handed!

Our company relocated from Benton to nearby Cleveland, Tennessee two years ago. Our new home has more office and warehouse space, giving us room to grow our team from 18 to 24 and more space to receive and ship thousands of model trains from our factory to our customers globally.

Creating model locomotives and freight cars is an extensive process. 5 years ago, we visited our factory to show "How Model Trains Are Made".
