We are thrilled to be part of the Community-Based Organization Arrears Case Management Pilot Program approved by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to help families manage their unpaid energy bills and avoid service disconnection. Through this pilot program, SBX Youth & Family Services will provide personalized case management to assist with: Creating action plans to reduce past due bills Enrolling in SoCalGas assistance programs Setting up payment plans Learning energy-saving tips This program is available to SoCalGas customers in the 92557 and 92223 ZIP codes. "WE'RE BUILDING BETTER COMMUNITIES THROUGH MENTORING" SBX Youth Services provides mentoring services to at risk youth through our partnered school districts and other partnered organizations. Within school districts we position ourselves at the middle school or high school location. In order to provide our mentoring services we rely on our network of Sigma Beta Xi members and Americorps Vista workers. Our members are trained by our organization to provide result driven research-based mentoring. Our Results speak for themselves 10% Increase in GPA 38% Decrease in Discipline Incidents 21% Increase in Attendance
