Thoughtful ideas here from Cheng Wang, CFO of Overclock Labs, creators of Akash Network, about Congress' role in the growth of decentralized AI. Since the tech straddles AI and crypto, it's tempting for lawmakers to force it into existing legislation -- or ignore it altogether. That would be a mistake. It's also important for proponents of decentralized AI to join efforts to educate lawmakers on the industry, which supports the kind of small players that gave rise to the AI boom. As Cheng notes, "it’s critical to underscore the importance of getting this right, as a way to preserve innovation, jobs and opportunity; that’s the kind of language that resonates with members of Congress."
