    To Be - Or Not to Be - on Yelp....that is the question. Here's the thing - Yelp is not just a review site - it is a search engine and directory with its own set of algorithms. Yelp is a high-authority website, meaning that links from Yelp to your website can pass on strong SEO value. So even if you don't ADVERTISE on Yelp - you should definitely create a profile and have your business live on the site. When it comes time to decide where you want to spend your advertising dollars, it's not a bad idea to throw Yelp into the mix as a platform to evaluate as a potential option. For those of you who have smaller ad budgets and don't have the time, knowledge, and bandwidth - Yelp may be a good option for you to use for advertising. Our personal preference is to use Google Ads once you have a budget that exceeds $1,500 a month or more. But that is NOT to say Yelp couldn't potentially be a great starting point for your business.
