SBL Construction Services were delighted to play our part as the Main Contractor responsible for the development in The START Center for Cancer Research new HQ in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital Campus. Working alongside Fenlon Electrical Services Limited and CJK the project involved Retro-fitting a pre-existing space inside a live hospital environment. A design headed up by Brock Finucane Architects, JV Tierney & Co. Consulting Engineers and Molony Millar, the new facilities ultimate goal is to work towards a cure for cancer. A New Era for Cancer Research in Ireland! ? We are excited to announce the official launch of START Dublin, led by Dr. Austin Duffy, with the site opening by Minister Paschal Donohoe. START Dublin is the first and only phase I oncology center in Ireland. Patients in Ireland now have access to novel early-phase clinical trials, bringing new treatment options closer to home. At START, we believe that every patient deserves access to cutting-edge clinical trials and the corresponding power of hope. With every new center, we get closer to achieving that vision worldwide. ?
