This is correct International Seed Federation ! There are basically three groups of traits that plant breeders focus on improving around the clock: 1. Agronomic traits – Things like productivity and maturity, which are key for growers. 2. Quality traits – These matter to both growers and consumers, including things like shelf life, which is especially important for retailers too. 3. Resistance traits – These help growers but also benefit society by reducing the need for pesticides. Chapeaux to plant breeders !
