Specific & Specialized in Audit Readiness for: SB 553 - Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, IACUC & Accreditation, GXP
关于我们
The Heart Behind Compliance: It's simple, it's black & white. The fact that it helps to minimize opinions, perspectives, the need for convincing, or buy in, makes the saying - don't hate the messenger, a great fit. When you're a people person with the ability to connect, build trust, and create a fun work environment, compliance doesn't seem like a bad word or daunting task. SB 553 is a NEW legislative law that impacts most CA businesses. Domestic violence (DV) prevention is now a requirement of the CA Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP); requiring formal investigation, with a difficult approach to anonymity. We help you navigate the murky waters to meet the mandates while saving time & costs. This legislative bill has a long list of 'musts' in order to satisfy requirements. The DV Divas is a group of DV experts I work with from around the globe. Per NIH, 36%-75% of employed DV victims report being bothered in some way by their abuser at work. It's also reported that domestic violence negatively impacts work performance. IACUC - Complete Program Oversight; Facility Accreditations, (new/triennial) Policy Writer, Trainer, Regulatory Point of Contact. I'm a little hyper-focused around access control. Ethics and conduct is in research is priority. GXP - Need I say more than the above? YES! Documentation, documentation, documentation. ALCOA If it's not documented, it did not happen. Proper documentation of CAPA's with checks and balances helps with audit readiness. My personal life experiences, decades of boots on the ground, community involvement, & hands on professional training, offers transparency & wisdom, which builds trust & saves costs. Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care. (JM) Strengthening the culture, strengthens compliance. Communication is key.

I don’t talk about this often. It’s not easy. But today, I have to. These cuts? They’re a matter of life and death. This is deeply personal. I survived cancer—linked to living in the exposure zone. I fought for three years. Without this fund: I would have had to pay millions for treatment. I would still be drowning in medical costs from secondary health issues caused by my treatment. 24,000 confirmed cancer cases have been linked to 9/11. That number is only growing. I struggle with sharing my story. I struggle with celebrating my re-birthday. But I know this: Silence doesn’t create change. Now, more than ever, we need to advocate. We need your voice. Call your representatives. Demand that this funding be reinstated. Stand with survivors. You have my full consent to please share far and wide. Check the comments for how to take action. Advocates Keep Advocating!??

A NY law that BLAMES victims instead of supporting them needs to GO! Intoxication is NOT Consent! Here’s why it matters ↓ Most people don’t know about the Voluntary Intoxication Exclusion (aka Loophole) This outdated law blames victims. New York has codified laws that specify “involuntary intoxication” and it inadvertently excludes “voluntary intoxication." All survivors deserve justice. It is our 6th year of advocacy on this issue. NY survivors have waited too long for a chance at Justice! The Justice Without Exclusion Coalition is fighting for change. Here’s what we are doing: → Assembly Bill A101 and Senate Bill S54 These bills aim to update the laws and remove this harmful exclusion. New York, we need YOUR support. → Stand up for survivors → Protect our NY communities Show your support by commenting on this post. Contact your representative. Share your voice by signing our petition. Repost and help us raise awareness. Everyone needs to know this! (I reached out to over 30 journalists last week and not a single response) Survivors deserve better. Let’s make it happen, Together! Advocates keep Advocating! ??

Transforming Pain into Power Survivors are not just survivors—they are warriors. Trauma doesn’t define them, and their story doesn’t end with pain. We believe in post-traumatic growth, the incredible ability to turn adversity into strength and purpose. Here are five ways survivors can embrace healing and transformation: ?? Reconnect with purpose: Rediscover what drives your passion. ?? Build your circle: Surround yourself with people who uplift and inspire you. ?? Find your voice: Sharing your story can inspire others and strengthen your own resilience. ?? Seek balance: Whether through mindfulness, creativity, or movement, find what grounds you. ?? Celebrate milestones: Every step forward, no matter how small, is a victory.. Join Us in February: Breaking Barriers Together Mark your calendar! This February 13th, we’re hosting a transformative event dedicated to raising awareness, empowering survivors, and fostering real change. A. ?? Stalking is not harmless—it’s a crime. This Stalker Awareness Month, let’s speak the truth: stalking shatters peace, invades lives, and leaves scars. It’s time we call it what it is and demand better for survivors. At Confronting Domestic Violence, we believe awareness is the first step to action. We’re on a mission to: ? Equip survivors with resources to reclaim their lives. ? Educate communities to recognize and respond. ? Advocate for policies that hold perpetrators accountable. Here’s how YOU can make a difference this month: ?? Share this message to raise awareness. ?? Support survivor-focused initiatives. ?? Take time to learn the signs of stalking. Together, we’ll break the silence and make sure every survivor knows they’re seen, heard, and supported. A. Garcia Nicole Borghi Dr. Constance L. April D.
