Our team shared our mission, values, and upcoming teaming opportunities with fellow leaders, who also shared their industry expertise and experience with us. We learned about barriers certified firms face, among them, staffing, proposals, marketing, and developing new client connections, along with how established firms like ours are poised to help break down these obstacles and bridge the existing gaps. It was an insightful and engaging conversation that will help us and our attendees cultivate industry relationships and operate with integrity. This Black History Month, we’re spotlighting Dr. Aprille Ericsson-Jackson, a trailblazer in engineering and a champion for diversity in STEM. Dr. Ericsson-Jackson broke barriers as the first Black woman to earn a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Howard University and has made groundbreaking contributions at NASA, including work on spacecraft like the James Webb Space Telescope.
