SAY San Diego (Social Advocates for Youth) is a dynamic, nonprofit organization that strengthens the whole child, whole family, and whole community. SAY was established in 1971 and serves more than 30,000 individuals, prenatal through adult, each year. SAY’s Mission is to partner with children, families, and communities to overcome barriers and create opportunities that enable them to realize and sustain their full potential. Our core service areas are: ? Before and after school programs and preschools ? Juvenile delinquency prevention and diversion ? Child abuse prevention and family support ? Mental health counseling, case management, and youth development ? Access to health care, employment, and self-sufficiency ? Collaborative partnerships for military families, refugee families, and more ? Alcohol, tobacco, and substance abuse prevention

Exciting news! SAY San Diego was recognized as an Honoree of the 2nd Annual Leading the Way Awards from Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan! ?? This incredible honor highlights the work we’re doing to support the Medi-Cal community here in San Diego County. Joe Buehrle, Branka Duknic, and Stephanie Olague took the stage to proudly represent SAY San Diego and accept this incredible award. We’re so grateful to be part of a community that cares and for the chance to make a real difference every day.
