4 Day Work Weeks Starting in 2025 according to LinkedIn???? LinkedIn’s #BigIdeas2025 list has the number one big idea as AI will pave the way to a shorter work week.?? Do you agree? Eric S. Yuan of Zoom agrees, well kinda. As for me ?? I disagree… at least here in the U.S. Do I think we are getting time back from the use of AI? Absolutely! It has revolutionized the way I work. Am I working less though? Nope. Will I be working less? Nope. And I bet neither will you and companies like Zoom won’t be reducing work weeks, they’ll enjoy the increased production and efficiency, just like they did during the pandemic. That is not a shot at them or any other company. It’s about capitalism and culture. My friends in Europe might have a different experience with AI, the work culture is different. We are not any better than then them, it’s just our cultures' priorities are different. In my humble opinion technology won’t reduce our work hours until our culture changes or shifts. ?? ????’?? ???? I made a mistake, and I want to tell you about it. I have 28 years of professional sales experience. I have literally forgotten more big sales successes than many people have in a career. I wrote a best-selling book that is a blueprint for relationship sales. I have 50k global students who have rated my courses 4.7 out of 5. I’ve hired, trained, and mentored hundreds of salespeople who worked for my companies. And yet I still fail… There are no Masters of sales or business. We are all on a journey. I broke one of my own cardinal rules this week. I let emotion get in the way of doing great discovery. I was so excited about my ability to help this prospect that I let my emotion make me the star and not the prospect. Am I a failure? No I am mature and experienced enough to recognize, reflect, and make adjustments. Honestly, that’s why I think I’m a great sales leader and consultant. My experience gives me confidence and self-assurance, but I’m not too arrogant about self-reflection and growth. We’re all on the same journey. I’m in the game, just like you.
