Paul Tauriello, Director, Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation was awarded the Frances Perkins Award, the former U.S. Secretary of Labor and IAIABC President, who served as a trailblazer for innovation and progressive leadership in workers' compensation and social security. Tauriello's dedication to advancing the industry reflects Perkins' legacy of commitment to social justice and workers' rights. Congratulations Paul, on carrying forward this important work! It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Faris. Bill, along with his wife Rosalie, have been dedicated supporters of SAWCA for decades, with Rosalie serving as Committee Co-Chair for the Medical Committee. For those of us who had the privilege of working within the Kentucky workers' compensation system, Bill was known as the consummate professional. His expertise and contributions were recognized with his induction into the Kentucky Workers' Compensation Hall of Fame, a remarkable achievement that SAWCA proudly celebrated later that same year.
