Due to a lot of hard work from our Executive Director, we're all ready to host our first fundraising event! Amazing how quickly we were able to do this and so thankful to the many who helped in making it happen. We hope to see everyone there!

Housing is another giant need in Honduras. Providing more suitable homes for these families is another step on the path to sustainment.

The first task, fulfill basic nutrition needs. 72 children attend this children’s center where they get their only meal or two of the day. Unfortunately, there’s dozens and dozens more within this community alone that don’t have access because of capacity restraints at the center. It only costs $25 per month to feed one child life-sustaining nutrition. The need is great but the cost is low. (Note the smiles on people’s faces. So much contentedness and joy despite their living conditions!

…the road less traveled often leads to amazing destinations! This is the feeding center on Montana de la flor (or Mountain of the Flower) filled with the wonderful children of the community. We’re beyond thrilled to partner with Leandro to advance his vision and help the beautiful people there.

The road less traveled is often less traveled for a reason. On our recent trip to Honduras, we found out why! A steep climb up the side of a mountain to our destination on a rocky road was full of excitement. Narrow roads with oncoming vehicles, herds of cows, 3 foot deep rivers and a 100 foot drop off on either side of you were just some of the fun obstacles we encountered. Exhilarating to say the least!!! But…

What do you say when a group of children decides to start a lemonade stand on a hot Saturday afternoon and send all the proceeds to Saving Grace?!?! The resolute generosity of a child is something to me admired by all of us. How cool is this? Thanks guys!!!!

VISION TRIP - We'll be heading to Honduras in June with our board to explore opportunities. Looking forward to further evolving our strategy in partnership with the people we'll be serving. Look for pictures and updates as this story unfolds!
