In 2024, my organization WYL led a landmark national study on understanding the benefits of implementing a standardized scoring system to measure resident experience and living conditions in multifamily housing. With a focus on enhancing quality of life for residents, the research aimed to provide a comprehensive analysis on how standardized metrics can lead to improved outcomes in care, satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This research serves as a vital resource for policymakers, lenders, owners/operators, and stakeholders looking to elevate the standards of care and living conditions within the national landscape. By embracing a standardized scoring system, we can collectively work towards a future where all residents enjoy a dignified, high-quality living experience.
