Meet Laura Williamson! She is our Content Manager & Lead Copywriter here at Savage Content Collective. We asked her a few questions to help you get to know her a little better: ?? What does an average workday look like for you? Every day starts with walking to get coffee from my favorite local coffee shop! Then, I head over to a public work area and spend a couple of hours knocking out short-term projects, like polishing and scheduling client newsletters, messaging with our clients, and making sure our team has all the resources they need to succeed on upcoming projects. Then, I head home, eat lunch, and make progress on longer-term projects like blog posts and client podcasts. ?? If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be and why? Uncle Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender! I just know he would give me some life wisdom that I didn't even know I needed. And maybe some delicious tea, too. ?? What has been your favorite part of this job? Working with such a kind and supportive group of people! The talented people on our team make collaboration a joy. Not only that, but our clients are all super nice people and they make the work we do so rewarding! We are so grateful to have you on the team, Laura! ??

Want to give a big shoutout to Savage Content Collective for doing a great job with our email marketing! With the purchase of Infinite Uploads, we received a list of 9,000 opted-in email addresses, most of which originated from our free Big File Uploads plugin. The list had never been used prior to the acquisition—it simply collected opted-in emails. Restarting a cold list was pretty nerve-wracking, but Savage Content Collective has successfully warmed it up. After only our second email, we’re seeing a 40% open rate! Even better, after the initial purge of bounced emails, our unsubscribe rate is below 0.5%.

We recently partnered with Ramblin' RX, a company specializing in aesthetics and botox with both in-person and mobile services, to build out a new website as they sought ways to grow their brand locally. The company is led by Nykole Jackson, an experienced aesthetic nurse, and her husband, Matt, who is a board-certified physician. They empower their clients to be high maintenance now in order to be low maintenance later. Through our partnership, we had the opportunity to clarify how she wanted the brand portrayed, how she could use her website to support her actual operations, and partner on communicating both in-person and mobile services. Another highlight of this project was the incorporation of a digital intake form, removing the need for extra paperwork to be filled out, streamlining the intake process for new clients, and allowing Ramblin' RX to eventually incorporate automations before and after an appointment that provide a seamless experience to patients.
