The Royal Plant Tour - Stop 5.? HRH The Princess Royal’s fifth stop on the Royal Plant Tour was at our HC4 Machining, marking the beginning of the HC4 Value Stream. This area plays a crucial role in the manufacture of stainless-steel valve bodies specifically designed for the pharmaceutical industry. Using advanced 5-axis milling and turning CNC machines, we produce valve bodies with a cavity-free structure, ensuring an unobstructed flow of the customer's product, while meeting the highest industry standards for hygiene and safety. Why It Matters The high-grade stainless steel we use is essential for its hygienic properties, corrosion resistance, and reliability in challenging environments, including those involving harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures. Key Enhancements for Greater Efficiency ? Dedicated machining cells were established with our recent site move, streamlining workflow and significantly improving productivity. ? In response to growing demand, we’ve invested in a second Mazak I800 machine, and a Mazak CV5-500 is expected to arrive in early 2025 to further enhance production capabilities. ? Our skilled operators work on a three-shift schedule, five days a week, with additional weekend overtime as needed to meet production goals and ensure timely delivery.
