Amongst the many highlights was a monumental occasion in Saudi esports history. In blistering form from start to finish, Team Falcons won the Call of Duty: Warzone competition – becoming the first-ever winners at the Esports World Cup on home soil. Alongside a series of showdowns across Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and the Dota2 Riyadh Masters, attendees witnessed another unforgettable moment in the League of Legends competition. Throughout week 1, the sensational atmosphere that the Saudi Arabian esports fanbase created perfectly epitomized what the Esports World Cup is all about – inspiring a generation and providing opportunities to experience the thrill of esports on a scale never seen until now.
