We help the oil industry to reduce and treat liquid oil waste quickly and at a low cost and using low carbon processes
关于我们
Effective treatment of oil slops and oil sludge waste is achieved with the MIST System by SAS Environmental Services. The low carbon method combining expertise, the right engineering and the use of the right process for the oil waste you need to treat. The SAS MIST system is the completely integrated solution bringing together all of the parts of the puzzle and resulting in dry solids and recovered oil.

The SAS contribution to treating the 1 Billion Ton. The desert in Kuwait is systematically being remediated from oil contamination caused in the 1990s during the Gulf war. This massive project is being managed by remediating large blocks of land. The Kuwait Environmental Remediation Program (KERP), funded by the United Nations, manages the aftercare of the massive oil spills. The oil sand to be treated has a volume of 26 million cubic meters. SAS SandClean products were used in the soil washing process at the South Kuwait Excavation Transportation and Remediation Zone or SKETR Zone 1 site. The oil sand to be cleaned had a hydrocarbon content of 5 - 7% TPH (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon) The SAS SandClean 256SC achieved the stated goals of: ? 50 - 100 tons per hour of oil sand processed, 20 hour/day processing ? 4,000 tons of oil sand treated ? The product achieved the Remediation Target Criteria (RTC) of under 1% wt TPH The SAS Oil Waste Services advisory team worked with the customer to optimise chemical dose rates, leading to a number of improvements to the treatment process. The result was a reduction in operating costs. This ongoing treatment resulted in a reduction of oil on sand from 5-7% TPH down to sub 1% TPH. The effective dose rate of the SAS SandClean 256SC was 0.1%. Contact us to work with us: WhatsApp +15557256238 [email protected]

One Billion ton of oil waste packaged in IBCs would reach so very far in space. You would get to the Moon and back and almost back to the Moon again. On the other hand, you would only reach 2% of the way to Mars. Which doesn't sound that far at all! Every problem can be framed in more than one way. We can look at it as insurmountable, too big to comprehend, too vast a task to even start. Or we can frame it in a different way. Something achievable with the right will to take action, a dedicated industry with the technologies widely available today, and the right regulations and finance in place. At SAS we see remediating this oil waste as achievable, desirable and non-negotiable. We are working to pull together a one source site for the oil waste industry to ask for solutions, offer solutions and join in creating new solutions. 1 Billion Ton to go. What do you have as an ask? What do you have to offer? #SASES #SASOWS #Oman #Kuwait #saudiArabia #Scotland #UK #Mexico #Colombia #Argentina #Waste #Oil #Oilwaste #Oilfield #Refining

Ships oil sludge waste is still often packaged in large bags for transport to shore. This practice causes huge waste treatment issues. The sludge is often from heavy fuel oil or bunker oil. This is highly viscous, if not near solid. This oil sludge does not flow out of the bag. The material the bags are made from is strong and fibers block and damage equipment. This is one area where we need a new approach. Perhaps bags that fall apart after a period of time? Or material that falls apart on contact with a certain substance. There is millions of tons of ships waste lying around the coastal areas of our planet. We need a solution for this waste.

Sometimes waste is not quite right to go through a decanter. A high solids load can quickly plug your decanter. The SAS chemistry is super effective at separating the oil, water and solids. It is then important to keep solids loading at 25% or less of the waste. Our Waste Preparation Module enables mixing of sludge or slops waste with SAS chemistry. It also enables dilution ahead of the decanter with oil and water. The dual tank format means the decanter is fed through a continuous batch process. All of it can be controlled directly at the Module or at a central control panel. Waste treatment methods built on decades of real world experience.
