Reflections from our CEO: As a small business owner, having a right-hand person in your company is crucial. This person can help you with decisions and help you stay grounded. I have that in Abigael Stapler. I call her "my other brain." She is originally from Kenya, and I was honored when she shared these photos with me of precious moments with her family. For Dr. Martin Luther King Day, she had her boys compare Dr. King to Jomo Kenyatta, Kenya's first Prime Minister after it broke away from the British colony. As we reflect on the beauty of this past Black History Month, I am thankful for the brave men and women who fought adversity for our freedoms. I wouldn't be where I am today without people like Dr. King or Prime Minister Kenyatta. Their contributions, resolve, and commitment are awe-inspiring.
