Support individuals with Parkinson's through specialized programs ? Teach vital swimming skills to kids With over 1 million visits across our association in 2024, including 3,700 youth in sports and 2,329 kids learning to swim, we’re proud to strengthen our community. Yesterday, our association held a Professional Development Day at the Saratoga Eagle Sales and Service for our leadership team across all six branches. We reflected on our successes in 2024 and focused on the opportunities and goals for 2025. It was a great time to connect, share ideas, and learn from one another. We were also fortunate to have guest speaker Whitney L. Closson, MS, who led an insightful discussion on the critical importance of mental health, both in the workplace and beyond. We're so grateful to have such a dedicated team of leaders at the Saratoga Regional YMCA!

Today, we hosted our first-ever?Annual Campaign Breakfast?at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs, bringing together business and community leaders, YMCA volunteers and staff, and generous supporters of the Y. Through powerful stories from our speakers, we highlighted the?life-changing impact?of the Y and shared our goal of raising?$600,000 in 2025?to continue providing essential programs and services. Last year alone, the?Saratoga Regional YMCA provided over $1.2 million in financial assistance, ensuring that?no one?was turned away due to financial hardship. As the need grows, so does our commitment to making the Y accessible to all. Thank you?to everyone who joined us today—we couldn’t do this without you! Together, we’re strengthening our community.

Meet our staff! Dennie is the Aquatics and Facilities Director at our Glens Falls branch and has been an integral part of the Y for the past 16 years. Over the years, she's worn many hats, including head swim coach, senior program director, aquatics director, and facilities director! One of Dennie's favorite parts of her role is working alongside her son, whose office is right next door! She also loves connecting with members throughout the day, checking in, and building meaningful relationships.
