Today, we observe Patriot Day and “9/11 Heroes’ Day,” honoring the heroes and lives lost in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. This National Day of Remembrance pays tribute to the bravery of first responders, military personnel, government employees, civilians, and all those who sacrificed on that tragic day. As part of Florida’s commitment to remembrance, all middle and high school students receive 45 minutes of instruction each September 11 on the history, significance, and sacrifices of 9/11. #NeverForget
