Meet Ms. Crenshaw, a first-grade teacher at Tuttle Elementary! Originally from Sarasota, she’s a proud alumna of Emma E. Booker Elementary, Booker Middle, and Booker High. Ms. Crenshaw’s journey into teaching was driven by her commitment to being the loving and motivating teacher every child deserves—one who helps them grow both intellectually and as future members of society. She treasures the motivation her students bring her each day and wants parents to know just how much strength she draws from their children. Outside the classroom, Ms. Crenshaw loves trips to Disney World and spending time with her three adorable pups: two Frenchies, Lamby and Bunz, and a mini poodle, TeeCo, who are her favorite cuddle buddies! #TeacherTuesdaySCS

Introducing Mrs. Paull, a 4th-grade teacher at Toledo Blade Elementary who brings her love for learning full circle! Originally from Venice, Florida, Mrs. Paull was inspired by her own experiences in school and especially by Mrs. Jennifer Dolciotto, her former assistant principal—now her current principal at Toledo Blade! Teaching 4th grade Math and Science, Mrs. Paull loves connecting classroom lessons to her students' daily lives, making learning relevant and exciting. Celebrating student success is a big part of her classroom culture. Through Eagle Bucks, a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) reward system, her students feel appreciated and look forward to earning rewards throughout the school. One thing she wants parents to know? Creating a safe, supportive environment is her top priority, as she believes that students thrive when they feel seen, heard, and valued. #TeacherTuesdaySCS

TEACHER TUES-YAY! ?? Meet Ms. Cohen, a 6th-grade and Math Resource Teacher at Booker Middle School! With 28 years of experience at Booker, she's a true veteran in helping students tackle math concepts. Math is her favorite subject because, although there are multiple paths to solving a problem, there's always one concrete answer—a quality she finds both fascinating and rewarding. ?? In her classroom, Ms. Cohen celebrates her students' successes with a reward system that keeps everyone motivated and engaged. Outside of teaching, she loves landscaping her yard and enjoys watching plants and flowers grow and bloom. ?? #TeacherTuesdaySCS

CONGRATULATIONS to our SCS Cares of the Month - SCSPD Officer Ekis, Sarasota High AP Mr. Jackson, and Campus Security Aide Larry Wilson! ?? "During lunch at Sarasota High, a student began choking on a piece of food. A team of three staff members assisted in taking turns performing the Heimlich maneuver and eventually were able to dislodge the piece of food and save his life. Because of their quick action and bravery, we avoided a truly tragic situation on campus, and the student was back in school the next day!" Ryan Chase, Principal Sarasota High
