Earlier today, Sarasota Memorial volunteers distributed special "Star Packets" to veteran patients, generously provided by The Major Stuart Adam Wolfer Institute and the national Stars for Our Troops program. This initiative honors those who have served by repurposing embroidered stars from retired American flags. Each star was placed in a packet accompanied by a special card, serving as a reminder to our veterans that their sacrifices and service are never forgotten. ???? Today, and every day, we are grateful for our veterans! #VeteransDay2024
