Thank you to everyone who joined us on Thursday to celebrate the expansion of Sarah’s Guest House. Founded by the inspiring Mary Keough in 1994, Sarah’s Guest House has grown into a vital resource, welcoming around 1,000 guests each year. And now, thanks to the generosity of our incredible community, we’ve doubled in size—from 11 guest rooms to 22. This expansion means more beds, more meals, more support, and more comfort for those who need it most. This milestone wouldn’t be possible without volunteers, donors, and foundations who share in our mission. From the bottom of our heart, thank you for being a part of this journey. Together, we are creating a legacy of care and compassion here in Syracuse. More photos and videos to come. ??

We had a wonderful time celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Saint Agatha Foundation last night. The foundation has been a dedicated supporter of our mission for many years. Laurie Mezzalingua had established the foundation to help those who “cannot afford their illness.” Laurie’s vision comes to life at SGH as the foundation provides a donation for any individual traveling to CNY and staying at SGH as they receive breast cancer related care. ??

Have you driven by SGH lately? Notice a change in our house color? Another step in the expansion process. ? We hope you love it as much as we do.

This past month, 100 different individuals stayed at 100 Roberts Avenue. One guest came all the way from Hawaii. The majority of our guests, 54 of them, were here to receive care from Upstate Medical University. 19 for Saint Joseph's Hospital and the remaining for Crouse Health, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and other local medical institutions including CNY Fertility. Thanks to you, we were able to provide them with more then a dozen meals, and 64 rides for those who were unable to transport themselves to the hospital. Without you, none of this is possible.

Yesterday, a volunteer team from MVP Health Care visited us to help paint! They heard we wanted to freshen up a back hallway and the bedroom doors. Everything came out beautifully. Thank you for your help!
