We are thrilled to share that the first six residents have moved into their new homes at Sarah’s on Lakeside! ???? These women, who have experienced homelessness, now have a safe, stable place to call their own at our newest building, and their fully furnished studio apartments offer the dignity and security they deserve. Thanks to many generous donors, these women have essential items such as cleaning supplies, kitchenware, bedding, bathroom items, and more!?As more residents move in, Sarah’s on Lakeside will soon be home to 28 women, each beginning a new chapter in their lives. ??

Thank you to our friends from the PayPal Chicago Unity ERG for packing hygiene kits with essential items for the women in our Interim Housing program and inviting Sarah's Circle to come in and share more about our mission! ??

Interested in volunteering with Sarah's Circle? ??♀??????? We have opportunities seven days a week, ranging from kitchen support, administrative tasks, supply organization, and activities and workshops. Our 33rd annual Winter Walk: A Mile in Her Shoes is finally here! ??♀? ?? Today is the day hundreds of supporters from our community will come together to walk through the streets of Uptown “in the shoes” of a woman experiencing homelessness and hear how Sarah's Circle works to end homelessness for women. We hope to see you there from 1-3 pm at Uplift Community High School (900 W Wilson Ave)! As a reminder, this event is free and open to the public. ?? If you will be attending, Uplift Community High School has parking available in the lot right east of the building, there will be signage to show where to enter. ??
