Congratulations to our executive team member, Gary L. Bukowski MA,CFRE VP for Advancement, on his article that was published in the February 2025 issue of Giving Today and Tomorrow!?Gary joined Sarah Reed as our associate vice president of development in 2015.?Since then he has helped raise significant funds and improved the agency’s development efforts in all areas: annual fund, major and planned gifts, grants, donor retention, new donor acquisition, donor relations, records management and marketing communications.?He played a key role in raising the funds to build the Sanctuary for Integrated Health & Wellness Park at our Hamilton Campus, implement keyless entry across Sarah Reed’s multiple campuses, create the newest 12-bed residence hall, James N. Herr Hall, raised $326,423 for the 150th Anniversary Technological Initiative, $600,000 for the St. Ann’s Campus Enhancement: Phase 1 initiative, and is currently working to raise the remaining $700,000 for Phase 2 improvements at our St. Ann’s Campus.?Gary has devoted over four decades to making a difference in the Erie community through fundraising, and in his article, he shares his transformative journey and successes.?Congratulations, Gary – we’re so proud to have you on our team!?Click here to read the complete issue: https://lnkd.in/dD4cRhWE

Thank you to the Presque Isle Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) for the wonderful donation of books and educational materials for our students at the St. Ann’s Campus! The DAR’s donation, focusing on the American Revolution and stories from unique voices, was made possible through a grant they secured from the America250 project. The members thoughtfully chose a number of exciting books and DVDs and donated them all to our St. Ann’s library. We held a reception for the occasion and were delighted to include many of our St. Ann’s high school students, along with staff and members of our executive leadership team. The Presque Isle Chapter, DAR members have been consistent supporters of the children and families that we serve and have made countless donations of time, goods and funds to help further the education of our children and the mission of our agency. We are very grateful to all the members of the DAR for encouraging our students and helping to brighten their paths! Sarah Reed Children’s Center is also proud to be an America250PA Nonprofit Affiliate, as we celebrate the Centennial Year of our historic St. Ann’s Campus. Fun Fact: Our foundress, Sarah Ann Reed, was a founding member of the Presque Isle Chapter, DAR back in 1897!
