$114,780.76 That is the amount of money we saved our cannabis client on their security build out. I don’t normally shoutout just one team member at Sapphire Risk Advisory Group but this time I am shouting out Haley Glover for her security redesign of the facility which will now pass the state inspection and is “Sapphire Risk” approved for their day to day security needs. Why was the initial security bids from several well known security installers for the equipment install (video, alarms, access control) so high? I do not think it was the fault of the security installers. They just sent a proposal based on the security floor plan overlay and RFP they were given. I also don’t blame the designer who created the initial security RFP. This firm does not usually work in the cannabis industry and they designed the facility the way they design their normal non cannabis locations. Another hero of the day was the general contractor who knew something wasn’t right and reached out to us. It is that level of concern for his client that speaks volumes. We need more of them in this growing industry. For over 11 years, we have helped open over 160 cannabis locations and over 1,000 high risk retail businesses nationwide but this one will always be special for me.
