Last week on Halloween, our very own Chef marc johnson served up small plates at the sold-out opening night of?Big Sur Food & Wine Festival?on the terrace of?Alila Ventana Big Sur. His highly sought-after station, positioned right in the middle of the action, served up Vanilla-infused Lobster over Curried Pumpkin Bisque, topped with?Tsar Nicoulai?Caviar and Chicken Chicharron. ?? Across three days, we hosted 12 top west coast schools for The Preserve Golf Club?Collegiate, hosted by Cal Poly?(formerly the Cal Poly Invitational). Despite early mornings and brisk starts, each team battled for the top spot. Special congratulations to our?Collegiate-Amateur winners, Zack Zarcone and Curtis Abbey, for their standout performance alongside their Long Beach State University teammates! ? After an impressive weekend, UCLA secured the tournament win with a team score of -23. In individual play, Jay Pabin of Colorado State University emerged victorious with an impressive -9. Thank you to all the teams, supporters, and sponsors who joined us for this incredible event.
