Last week, we joined many of our neighboring water districts and cities for 'H2O for HOAs'. This free, educational, and networking event for HOA board members, community managers, and landscapers aimed to inspire collaboration and conversation on water management topics. Our very own Robb Grantham (SMWD General Manager) and Betty Olson (SMWD Vice President) had the opportunity to present and speak to all who attended! #HOA #Community #WaterEducation #Partnerships

Thursday, attended a Santa Margarita Water District Plant Tour of their completed Influent Lift Station rehab project at the Chiquita Water Reclamation Plant. Two years ago when I left SMWD they had the artist renderings of the project and were about to break ground. It was great to return and see the completed project. Awesome to see and reconnect with my past coworkers. Thank you to SMWD's Tricia Butler, Khoa Nguyen, and Jason Patterson; HDR's Project Manager Gregorio Estrada; CWEA SARBS Vice President Alice Wang; and CWEA's Professional Development Committee members - Amy Omae, Nang Mwe, Nathan Chase, Bob Tran, Nhan Mai, and Jeanette Tang.
