Introducing our new Chief Strategy Officer, Alex Atchison. Alex began his new position on June 1st, 2024. He comes to us from Young, Moore, & Henderson in Raleigh. He has served as SanStone’s corporate counsel for over a decade, and is very familiar with our structure, culture, and goals as a company. Alex is a graduate of UNC Charlotte and Samford, Cumberland School of Law. He has two children, Ruffin and Maddie, both college students at UNC Charlotte and UNC Chapel Hill and a dog named Sophie. As our Chief Strategy Officer, Alex brings many areas of expertise to our already dynamic team. He oversees our finance department, provides strategic planning guidance for SanStone, as well as some in-house counsel support. We are extremely excited to welcome Alex to our team! ?

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation recently won a fishing trip at the N.C. Youth Outdoor Engagement Commission Fundraiser. This event supports our youth by providing opportunities for them to get outside and connect with nature. Huge thanks to Davidson River Outfitters Co for their generous donation. Despite the challenges from post-Hurricane Helene, SanStone team members, Grady Folger and Alex Atchison, still found joy in our beautiful NC rivers. ????

Our dedicated team is committed to providing exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for all our residents. In preparation for this transition, we recently held a successful job fair with the help of staff from our sister facilities Village Green Health and Rehabilitation and The Lodge At Rocky Mount Health & Rehabilitation. We were able to gain many talented professionals who are eager to join our mission.
