    Last week, we worked on hotel startup Sansara Space: ? Redesigned the chat ? Finished the backend part of the chat ? Refactored significant portions of the code ? Uploaded some content to show clients as examples (in the picture) This week was more focused on bug fixes and refactoring than creating new features. Next week, we will deploy our app on the server and start developing directly in production. And one more thing—I really don't understand how hotels can still go without digital services in 2024... where you can't simply order food, request services, or ask questions in a chat.

    Last week, I worked on my startup and content: DEVELOPMENT ? Created a design for the dashboard (pic 1) ? Developed the backend part for the dashboard ? Connected the orders part of the frontend with the backend (pics 2-3) ? Worked on the backend part of the chat (need to connect with the frontend, pic 4) BUSINESS ? Sent out 200 + connection requests ? About 15-20% accepted my request ? 90+% of them are hotel management professionals ? Sent a welcome message to all my new connections ? Started writing posts 5x/week on LinkedIn to increase impressions (pic 5) ? Changed the profile photo where my face is visible and stands out in the comments Ussually, less than 1% press the ?? button on Linkedin.?If you found this post useful, a like or repost would be appreciated!

    This is how Sansara Space restaurant section looks (boost your hotel’s restaurant sales with ease) As guests enter the restaurant section, they’re greeted by an intuitive interface featuring search, categories, and dish selection. Search Functionality - Guests can simply type in the name or ingredients of a dish (e.g., salmon, Caesar salad), and our smart search will present the most relevant options. Categories - A well-organized selection of categories allows guests to quickly find their favorite dishes. Dish Details - Each dish is showcased with a high-quality photo, a detailed description, ingredients, price, and quantity options. Once guests have made their selections and clicked the button at the bottom, they’ll be directed to their cart. ?? In the cart, guests can review their chosen dishes and see the total price. They also have the choice to opt for room service or enjoy their meal in the restaurant. Changed your mind? No problem—guests can easily remove items from their cart. After placing an order, guests can track the status in the Orders section, which I’ll cover in more detail later. We are currently in a closed testing phase.     Stories about our hospitality startup #1 We want to solve 1 problem in hotels: Problem: Communication with the hotel is primarily done over the phone. Solution: A QR code that, when scanned, allows guests to order any services and communicate with hotel staff. The QR code will be conveniently placed on the back of the room card and in the guest's room. Upon scanning the QR code, guests are directed to a web page, the prototype of which is illustrated in the images. Images in order: 2. Home Page: The guest’s main page is displayed. They can select their preferred language, making it easy to communicate without needing to make calls in a foreign language. The hotel's name is also featured. 3. Personalized Information: Details such as the guest’s name, room number, number of guests, check-in and check-out dates, Wi-Fi password, and breakfast options are provided. 4. Main Sections: Four primary sections that are fully customizable through our CMS, as shown in the image and to be detailed in future posts ?? 5. Advertising Banner: An area for promoting services like booking the hotel for a future stay or highlighting a new dish in your restaurant. The Bottom Bar includes information about orders placed by the guest, nearby points of interest, a cart for restaurant orders, and a chat for communication with the hotel.     For 3 months, we've been developing a hospitality startup. Why exactly there? For the past 2 years, I've been traveling around the world and staying in many hotels. There was always one problem in hotels: to order food from the restaurant, request a service, or find out information about the hotel, you always had to call or go to the reception. This literally blew my mind—how is this possible in 2024? Not finding a suitable solution to this problem, I decided to create my own to help hotels communicate with their guests in a way that was different from the 20th century ?? It will be a web application. In each room and on the back of the key card, there will be a QR code. By scanning it, you will instantly access the following sections: ? Restaurant: order your favorite dishes. ? Services: request room service, cleaning, or any other service provided by the hotel. ? Activities: book tours and spa visits. ? Amenities: find out what the hotel offers—pool, gym, and much more. ? Chat: communicate with hotel staff in real-time. ? Booking: extend your stay or book your next trip. And this is just the beginning... For hotels, we are creating a user-friendly web interface that makes it easy to manage all these sections. For example, they can add dishes to the restaurant menu with their prices, offer a paid dry-cleaning service, create their own city tours, or offer tours from other companies, and much more. No technical knowledge will be required from the hotel's side; just log in and use it, everything will be as simple as possible. The service will launch very soon in beta testing, and I will be sharing our progress in real-time????
