Over the summer, we broke new records with the number of puppies in our care. If you are looking to add a puppy to your family, please always consider adoption first. The new San Diego Humane Society Adoptions Center has been selected for the Engineering News-Record Regional Renovation/Restoration Award of Merit! This award celebrates the design and construction of the renovation, which would not have been possible without the incredible team that collaborated together since the project first began in 2017. The goal of the SDHS Adoptions Center renovation was to maximize the quality of animal habitats, enhance guest experiences, and maximize efficiency for staff. These improvements were made with the hopes of decreasing the animals’ average length of stay.
