Netflix has just released Butterfly in the Sky: The Story of Reading Rainbow, a documentary that dives into the incredible journey of this beloved show and its profound impact on literacy and imagination. This documentary is a tribute to LeVar Burton's enduring legacy and a reminder of the power of storytelling to inspire and educate.

Thanks everyone for joining our 2nd LinkedIn Audio event this morning! Great to see a lot of the same faces from round one and to meet a few new folks as well. Last time we dove into why hybrid work matters. This time we talked a lot about the downsides of video first collaboration, and the positive impact of asynchronous tools like Loom, Atlassian Jira, Miro and others. Freddy Mercado brought up some great points about having a workplace culture that aligns with the tools you adopt. Companies that have made the push for more asynchronous tech stacks, now have a new challenge in front of them. You’re able to manage distributed teams and reap the benefits of diverse talent and agile workflows, but there’s still times where you want to collaborate as a group in a dedicated meeting. If you’re 100% reliant on video calls or you can only schedule on sites a few times each year, that’s a huge gap in your process. So what do we do? You’re team works remotely, how do you manage the meetings you would normally have in person? This is where spatial computing, VR, the metaverse offers tangible business value. A new medium of communication to serve a new way of working. Here’s a short clip from todays session with Nolan Ether hosted by Arthur ____ The next one is June 12th! Nolan Ether and I are hosting another LinkedIn Audio with Arthur! Last time we kept it pretty high level on what hybrid work actually is and why large global companies need to figure out their plans around the future of work. Some of the highlights were about workplace culture, independent work vs async collaboration vs intentional meetings either in person or virtually. This time we're going to get a little deeper into the weeds. Outside of 30min video calls, how can teams of the future stay connected and get work done together as a team? We'll talk about the drawbacks to video, the incredible digital tools that have been powering remote teams in 2D, and the future of immersive meetings in 3D.
