Sandblast Productions is excited to share a project our team has worked on so diligently this year. We teamed up once again with The Office of Eric Schmidt to create a video that embodies the significance of his latest book, Genesis, which he co-wrote with the late Dr. Henry Kissinger and Craig Mundie. The book, as well as the video, outlines the great potential AI offers our world, while also outlining some critical risks. Genesis was created and produced by Katherine Burke and Julia Baker, with original music composition by Loren Toolajian and sound design/post production mix by Ralph Kelsey. This project was done in partnership with director, designer, and animator, Juan Delcan and in collaboration with Moonshine Media. https://lnkd.in/ekpNGN2z

Sandblast's Mike Ungar went to town finding just about every type of door open and close, along with creating not only lots of musical fx but also creating and/or mixing 13 performances of Muppets in this wonderful adaptation of 12 Days of Christmas for?"Cookie Monster's 12?Treats of?Halloween."?A huge shout out to writer/producer extraordinaire?Andrew Moriarity for his amazing support, Tyler Hartman and Bill Sherman for a great song and a special shout out to David Rudman for his incredible, nearly breathless performance. In this chilling series, viewers are transported to the world’s darkest and most evil locations. Driven by the macabre history and hair-raising unexplained activity that surrounds each nefarious site, Bagans sends his documentary film crew around the globe to explore what lurks within. The crew navigates local legends, historic mysteries, diverse cultural beliefs and real-life horrors to document claims of hauntings, possessions and curses.

https://lnkd.in/edZkHcpa Sandblast Productions is very pleased and proud to announce our winning of a Shorty Award in the category of Music and Sound for our production of The Age of AI for Schmidt Futures.?Accepting the award on behalf of our entire production team was Loren Toolajian, the composer of the score for the 16 min documentary short.??The film , which features Henry Kissinger and Entrepreneur and Tech Giant Eric Schmidt, has garnered over 4.5 million views since its release last year.??Along with Loren's amazing score, Ralph Kelsey added his own magic as well, creating the sound design and the post production mix. Congratulations to animator/director Juan Delcan and especially to our producers Katherine Burke and Julia Baker who were responsible for the entire project.

Elmo's Colorful Egg Hunt Game Sandblast's Mike Ungar pulled out some 8-bit samples he had stashed away from his first sampler and went old school for this one, as Elmo chases down some colorful eggs with a little help from Cookie Monster. Mike created all sfx, mixed and added a little extra musical somethin'-somethin' to Bill Sherman's and Tyler Hartman's retro underscore. Great fun for all involved! https://lnkd.in/eTMmpqxE
