Intermountain Healthcare's St. Vincent Regional Hospital has unveiled the plans and design for a new state-of-the-art replacement hospital in Billings, Montana! We are so proud to be a part of this project that will improve the health and well-being of the Billings community for generations to come. This innovative 14-floor, 737,000 square-foot facility will be the largest capital project in the history of Montana. The Sanbell team worked with many other experts on the design team for over 2 years to plan and intelligently design the infrastructure for this complex project in the center of Billings' medical corridor. Billings Montana residents have a lot to look forward to with their new comprehensive 20-year growth plan in the works. The Sanbell Billings planning team have been putting all of their expertise into laying out the future development of the Billings' West End. John Halverson, one of our talented land planners, spoke with local news station Q2 regarding the project. “We need to guide growth, and we need to have a process for it and not just an ad hoc, one-by-one kind of process where we fight it out over every single development and every single zone change. Happy National Recycling Day! Today we would like to highlight the amazing Gold Coast Recycling and Transfer Station, a project developed with the help of our Ventura team. In the station’s 30 plus years of service it has recovered more than 580 million pounds of material for recycling and saved millions of trees in the process. Not only does the Gold Coast Recycling and Transfer Station work with solid recyclables but the facility also provides critical stormwater treatment as well, keeping our water clean. Despite its long history the station has managed to stay at the cutting edge of technology including automated sorting systems and picking lines to keep up with the demand as our community continues to Reduce Reuse and Recycle! A great big congratulations to the Sanbell Landscape Architecture team who were recently granted the Biggest Small Win Community Award by the Downtown Bozeman Partnership for their work on the North Black Pocket Park! This achievement was highlighted at this year's Montana Downtown & Main Street Conference. Sanbell designed the improvement of this underutilized and neglected corner into a whimsical respite space for the community to enjoy. Currently the park is being expanded further to transform into I-Ho Pomeroy Peace Park, honoring the late and beloved City Commissioner and celebrating her Korean heritage.
