?? Announcing A New Journey ?? I’ve been incredibly fortunate to be at the forefront of transformative technology waves that have reshaped our industry. Driving the cloud revolution, as one of the first employees at Spoken/Avaya we built and deployed some of the first cloud infrastructures for contact centers. As one of the first employees at Observe.AI we harnessed the bleeding-edge capabilities of LLMs to unlock unprecedented value right at the front door of customer experience. These experiences having successfully gone Zero to One, twice over the last 12yrs, have taught me the power of innovation and the impact it can have on both businesses and people’s lives. It doesn’t happen naturally, it takes real people with vision, grit, and the ability to relentlessly execute. Now, I’m thrilled ….. to announce that I’m joining Sanas as the Senior Director of Sales. Sanas is doing something truly groundbreaking. The incredible team of scientists, engineers, and leaders have developed real-time AI that enables people from all around the world to understand each other better ????. Imagine agents on calls with huge smiles—no more misunderstandings, no more discrimination over the phone. They’re free to focus on what truly matters: serving customers person to person. Their countless positive testimonials reemphasize the impact. Yesterday, I spoke with a self-proclaimed “old grizzly dude who’s been managing sites for 20 years.” His reaction? “Hoooly shit… I haven’t seen something that impressive before!” Genuine excitement like that is happening every day. And it’s already live at scale in many of the largest enterprises today. I feel like the most fortunate person to have worked with some of the best teams in the industry. Now, I’m diving into something new, something amazing, something that’s going to be really big, and most importantly, something that will have a truly positive impact on so many people dedicated to this industry. ?? Thank you to everyone who’s been part of my journey so far ?? #sanas #newbeginnings Anant S. Sharath Keshava Narayana Maxim Serebryakov Shawn Zhang Marty Massih Sarim Monal P. Ashish Kanoongo Raul H. Don’t wait for the perfect product – build something people relate with and improve it from there. There’s no such thing as a “perfect” product. Even solutions like Windows, which have been around for 39 years, continue to evolve and improve. As Reid Hoffman said, “If you're not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you've launched too late.” In startups, urgency is everything—especially for enterprise-facing products, where multiple stakeholders look at the product through different lenses, leading to diverse feedback. So, launch your first version quickly and start the feedback and iteration loop as soon as possible. Keep your early customers in the loop so they feel heard and remain engaged as you iterate toward Product-Market Fit (PMF). At Sanas, we were quick to hit the market with an imperfect product—we were 70% there. :) Our first customer helped us uncover the real-world problems, and solving those problems continuously matured our product. Today, we’re proud that our products are empowering over 100K agents. Maxim Serebryakov, Sharath Keshava Narayana, Monal P., Anant S., Ashish Kanoongo, Nishant Agarwal, Marty Massih Sarim

Trust Your Instinct! Most founders have powerful instincts and a deep sense of conviction—things that are hard to quantify but crucial for writing their own David vs. Goliath story. But as companies scale, instinct often takes a backseat, and we start relying more on data and reports to mitigate risk. I believe this is where founders risk losing what made their companies special in the first place—those bold, instinct-driven moves that set them apart. Many breakthroughs happen because someone dares to do something the reports don’t predict—like developing Accent Translation for contact centers, even when conventional wisdom might not have suggested it. So, I always tell my team and the founders I’ve invested in to find a balance and not let reports and industry outlooks override their intuition. When you're building a movement or a category-defining company, a lot of conventional wisdom might not be applicable anyway. Today, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement as I welcome my friend Christian Wathne to the Sanas family! Christian Gunnar Wathne and I first crossed paths at Observe.AI, (yes our common denominator and man on a mission Sharath Keshava Narayana was the reason at Observe and now at Sanas)? where I was just starting, and he was embarking on settling in Seattle. Little did we know that first meeting would spark not only a great working relationship but a true friendship. Christian has always believed, “there’s no better joy than working with genuinely good people”—and he lives it every day. So, it’s a real honor and joy to have him beside me again as we dive into this next chapter at Sanas. The path we walked at Observe was unforgettable, but the road ahead is something extraordinary. Together, we’re building what was once only a dream, pushing boundaries in ways that make us grateful to work with people we genuinely care about. Oh, and to those who noticed Christian in my last post—yep, you caught the Easter egg! Keeping this news a secret wasn’t easy, but I’m thrilled the word is finally out. ?? Welcome aboard, Christian Gunnar Wathne as a Sr Director of Global Sales. Here’s to new memories, bold visions, and all the amazing things we’ll achieve. Let’s make magic happen! ??? In poker, having a chip and a chair symbolizes the opportunity to still win from nothing. As long as you are still in the game, you have a chance to win. My journey has been filled with opportunities that I’ve seized with both hands. But imagine this: millions of contact center agents are handling complaints, making cold calls, and often find themselves on the receiving end of frustrated customers. Why? Because the industry pays. It provides a lifeline — the 'last chip and chair' — to young talent across countries like India, the Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, Africa, and others. BPOs have transformed economies, contributing significantly to their GDPs and giving people the chance to build a better life. But for every agent hired, there’s one who gets rejected — not because of a lack of skill or will, but because of their accent or mother tongue influence (MTI). These are smart, capable people with potential. And to me, that’s unsettling. MTI should be celebrated, not judged. Eliminating this bias against accents could open up countless job opportunities, fuel dreams, and offer candidates their 'last chip and chair' in the game of life. That’s what fuels me and my team at Sanas to continue building the movement and eliminating this obstacle for so many people.
