SAND BAG STATION Sand bags are a simple, but effective way to prevent or reduce water damage from flooding. Properly placed sand bags act as a barrier to prevent water from getting inside your home. The sand bagging station is open 24 hours a day in the parking lot at Davis Park on Folsom Avenue at 17th St. Shovels for filling bags at the site are located at the site. Bags are provided to the public. Site is monitored by City Staff to replenish sand and bags as necessary. Citizens of San Pablo are welcome to use this site to load sand bags for protection of their property. The Cities of Richmond and El Cerrito also have sand bag stations for their citizens.
