Ms. Green brings a positive attitude to her unit, always willing to lend a helping hand. She goes above and beyond by covering shifts, engaging in activities the kids enjoy and supporting her peers. We are excited to share that Mr. Rurangwa has successfully completed his Tier 2 requirements and is ready for promotion! A longstanding positive presence on his unit, Mr. Rurangwa is a dedicated patient advocate who works hard to promote safety. His skills in direct care have been evident in past shifts, and he is now an essential part of the overnight team. We appreciate his diligence in patient monitoring, accurate documentation and timely communication. Congratulations, Mr. Rurangwa!

Our CEO, Andy Herod, spoke at our recent Town Hall and recognized our staff for the amazing care they provide to our patients and their families. Andy congratulated everyone on a job well done and acknowledged staff who had work anniversaries. Town Hall meetings are not only a great way to keep everyone informed but, also a great way to thank our teammates for all that they do!

Ms. Avalos from our HR team recently attended a job fair at The University of Texas at Austin. It was a great opportunity to introduce San Marcos Treatment Center to students preparing for graduation. March is Social Work Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible social workers who make a difference every day! Their dedication, compassion and advocacy help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, providing support when it’s needed most. Ms. Holliday is all smiles because she won our MHA of the Month award for February! Ms. Holliday is a kind, caring and supportive individual. She gives her all in every situation and brings so much positivity to every environment she works in. Her responsiveness and caring nature are appreciated beyond words! Great work, Ms. Holliday!

Congratulations to our amazing Transportation team on winning our 4th Quarter Service Excellence Award! They did a fantastic job during our recent Military Family Weekend of transporting families to and from our campus. This team is always willing to help while going above and beyond. Their success is a testament to their dedication, teamwork and commitment to providing stellar service to our patients and families. Thank you for all you do!

We are happy to report Ms. Yeager is ready to be promoted to Tier 2! Her supervisor reported that she is great about being involved in the milieu. This includes helping track hygiene and being proactive in keeping the patients active and on schedule. Congratulations, Ms. Yeager!
